We Believe there is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all things. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit) and His name is Jesus.
We Believe that in order to enter into the kingdom of God, one must be born again, of water and of spirit, as commanded by Jesus Christ (John 3:5).
We Believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14). We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost, with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4). We believe that these are essential for all believers and constitute the and it should end like this constitute fullness of the New Birth.
We Believe in the Great Commission and we endeavor to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion.
We Believe in the necessity of holiness and separation from the world. We aim to live holy, inwardly and outwardly, and to worship God joyfully, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together (2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 10:25; 12:14).
Leadership
About our church
Pastor Michael & First Lady Khalea Cooper
Pastor Michael Cooper II is a spiritual leader, visionary, and entrepreneur with a profound passion for kingdom-building. His journey of faith began at a young age, nurtured by his family’s deep roots in the church and also in the community.
As the son of the late Suffragan Bishop Michael Cooper, Sr., and Elect Lady Tobi Cooper, he was raised in a deeply religious and community-oriented household, instilling in him a profound sense of faith, compassion, and service.
After the passing of his father in 2023, the mantle of leadership fell upon Elder Cooper’s shoulders. His elevation to the esteemed position of pastor at Greater Christ Temple was a testament to the trust and confidence vested in him, a choice affirmed wholeheartedly by both the Board of Directors and the congregation through a unanimous decision. In July of 2024, Pastor Cooper was elevated to the office of District Elder in the Ohio District Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc.
Pastor Cooper is married to the lovely First Lady Khalea, a minister and entrepreneur as well. Together, they are the proud parents to Michael III (“True”), Mason, Miles, and their angel in heaven, Khaelyn.
Building upon the legacy of his father and the great pastors before him, Pastor Cooper continues to lead the congregation toward new heights and strives to create lasting impact in the Lima community.
